Hello Arpanraj. In case you want to pursue engineering in India, you should have PCM in 12th boards. Then you need to take various entrance exam like JEE mains, bitsat, VITEEE, Manipal , srm etc. The forms for these are available from November-march. Colleges consider both entrance scores and 12th board percentage so make sure you do good in bith of them.
In case you want to go abroad, take SAT and choose a university based on your score and then take TOEFL as per university requirement

It depends upon the state. For example, in Karnataka they are conducting KCET exam for engineering, at the same time in TamilNadu only merit rank base seat allotment, also, some private university like BITs, vit, christ, srm, they conduct entrance exams. You can also write JEE, for good college to get a seat.
