How can I get admission in BTech in CUSAT?

<p>The CUSAT CAT score is used to determine admission to the BTech programme. In order to choose applicants for BTech (LE) courses, the university also administers a Lateral Entry Test (LET). The 200 objective-type questions on the three-hour LET test are intended to assess candidates' proficiency in English, mathematics, engineering mechanics, engineering graphics, and general engineering. Candidates for BTech (PT) courses are chosen by the university based on their performance in the department's admission exam and most recent qualifying exam. In addition, CUSAT takes into account the length of time candidates have worked after earning their diploma.</p>

LET is a three-hour test including 200 objective-type questions designed to test proficency in&nbsp;<a href="http://www.shiksha.com/humanities-social-sciences/english-chp">English</a>, Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics and General Engineering.</p><p>The university selects candidates for BTech (PT) courses based on merit in the last qualifying exam and admission test conducted by the department. CUSAT also considers the number of years of experience of candidates after obtaining the diploma.</p>
