    Hi,
As far as my knowledge goes, there is no such thing as lateral entry in BIT-Mesra. If you want to take admission in BE, you got to get the required cut-off in JEE Mains. For further details, kindly visit the site 'https://www.bitmesra.ac.in/', and contact an official person about complete details. I recommend to contact anyone related to your field of study.

Admission to BE/B.Tech course in BIT Mesra is based on AIR in JEE-Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
