How can I get admission in FMS, Delhi?

It is not enough to crack an entrance exam to secure a seat in an MBA college. The aspirants also have to crack stage 2 of admission, which mostly consist of written tests, group discussions and personal interviews. Hi, Getting a good percentile is the first step in your journey towards MBA but it is now that the real competition starts. You compete for a seat with people of almost the same IQ. Thus, it is important to differentiate yourself from the crowd. This is my journey towards one of the best B-Schools i.e. FMS, Delhi. It is a common misconception that the PI process does not carry much value in the selection process of FMS. It is true that 15% weightage is given, but this can create a huge difference. I would like to start by first sharing my experience. FMS has PI + Extempore as its selection process. Extempore is just at the start of every individual PI. 1 minute time is given to speak on the topic which was given by the panel. At FMS, one has to start speaking immediately after a topic is given. I was asked to speak on Day Dreaming. Slightly taken aback, it took some 5 seconds to gather my thoughts. Describing day dreaming, its implications, advantages and disadvantages, I stopped speaking after 30 seconds. They asked me to continue speaking as the clock was still clicking. But I did not have any more relevant thoughts. So I told them, I am done As far as news and current affairs are concerned, I read only those topics that interested me. It's human tendency to get deviated towards the topics that are in sync with one's personal inclinations, you have keep track of it and read as much as you can. To have the content and to portray it efficiently are two different pieces and you have to master both .
