Low marks in class 10th and 12th would affect your composite score. You need to score a high CAT percentile to get a call from IIM. The admission will depend on your PI and graduation background. As IIM - Calcutta is one of the most sought after institutes in country, you have to be highly competent.
    Best of luck.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA course need to visit the official website of the Common Admission Test (CAT) to apply online. Before applying, the aspirants must check the course-specific eligibility criteria. Candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT score and several stages of selection. Further, the final selection is done on the basis of CAT score, WAT-PI, academic performance, work experience, and gender diversity. Find below the steps involved in the IIM Calcutta MBA admission process:

    1. CAT registration
    2. Shortlisting candidates based on CAT score and invitation emails
    3. Shortlisted candidates replying for admission
    4. Selection

To pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Management, you need to take CAT and perform exceedingly well. For students belonging to general category, the CAT cutoff for the interview call is as high as 98 percentile. Perform well in the interview to secure admission at IIM Calcutta.

Look at their website and all the programs they offer, general MBA, specialized MBA, executive MBA, distance MBA, etc. Each one may have different entrance exam / equivalent exam grade / selection criteria.

You need to have minimum 50% marks at your graduation examination and score more than 95 percentile score in CAT to get a call for PI (personal interview) from IIM, Calcutta. Once you clear the PI then you can get admission on the basis of merit ranking.
