How can I get admission in IIM Ranchi for PhD?

<p><span lang="EN">Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria of full-time PhD course must participate in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have cleared <strong>GATE</strong>, <strong>GRE</strong>, <strong>GMAT</strong>, or <strong>NET-JRF</strong> (UGC/CSIR) exams can also apply in their relevant specialisation area. Scores from any of these exams, including CAT, taken within the last two years, will be considered valid for Ph.D. admission.</span></p><p><span lang="EN">Candidates who have completed a one/two-year full-time classroom-based Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or</span> specialized<span lang="EN"> management area (e.g., PGD in HRM, Agri-Business Management, etc.) from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or its equivalent in the four years preceding Jun 30, 2023, are exempted from this requirement. They can apply directly using the prescribed Application Form.</span></p><p><span lang="EN">Candidates shortlisted based on their academic records and performance in the aforementioned competitive examinations will be invited for a seminar and personal interview for final selection in April/May 2023. Successful candidates will receive admission offers by the end of May 2023.</span></p>
