Students can pursue a postgraduate degree in MBA at IIT Bombay. To get into the course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the programme. The basic eligibility is to pass graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised university. Additionally, students should have a valid CAT score based on which they will be shortlisted for the PI round. The institute also takes into consideration the past academic performance and work experience of the students. Those who qualify for the Personal Interview round will be required to report to the admission cell at SJSOM, IIT Bombay for document verification and fee payment.

IIT Bombay offers an MBA course through the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM). Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score can fill out the IIT Bombay MBA application form online (som.iitb.ac.in). After registration, login with the credentials, i.e., login ID and password. Further, fill out the application and upload the important documents. The form is then successfully submitted after payment of INR 1,600 as the application fee.
