How can I get admission in IPM program offered by IIM Indore? Which is better among CA or IPM?

Hi Rakshit, Eligibility criteria for IPM programme requires a minimum of 60% aggregate marks at Secondary/X Standard/Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/Equivalent for General and NC-OBC category candidates (55% aggregate marks at Secondary/X Standard/ Equivalent and at Higher Secondary/XII/+2 level/Equivalent for SC, ST and PWD / DA candidates). All candidates meeting the minimum eligibility mentioned above will be called for the Aptitude Test. The shortlist for Personal Interview would be based on the candidate’s performance in the Aptitude Test and the final selection would be based on their performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Government of India reservation norms would be followed while admitting the candidates. For further details refer the official website. Both CA and IPM are good course. CA would be a good option if you want to make career in finance field and IPM would be good option if you are looking for a career management field.

Management is there in every career, in all kinds of jobs. You need to acquire management skills. One can acquire these skills through experience or by studying management at good, reputed institutes. If you are desirous of such a career complete your graduation, study hard and come in merit of the CAT exam. You have asked about CA and 5 year course in IIM Indore. Well, CA is also hard and one can have a good career out of it. It would depend upon your own inclination. If you think you can score more marks in Commerce subjects and can understand it more than what you have till now, you can opt for CA. There is another option of doing graduation in Commerce subjects or in Humanities and then go for the 2 year MBA course in any reputed institute through CAT exam.
