Candidates must complete their 10+2 examination including Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology to get admission to Kalpataru Institute of Technology (KIT) Tiptur for B.E./B.Tech. There are a couple of ways which a student can apply for the admission into this college namely the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK UGET. These are entrance exams for which candidates have to apply and once the results come up, they have to attend counseling where they are placed basing on a certain rank.
