LPU receives the highest NAAC grade i.e. A+ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education, Government of India As per the NIRF rankings LPU ranks 38th amongst all the government and private universities of India and 50th in engineering.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for admission in B.Tech - is that a student need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST

LPU admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET score. Apart from this, candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU BTech course ranges between INR 4.5 lakh and INR 16 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.
