How can I get admission in LPU for Diploma in engineering (lateral entry)? I have scored 80% in 10th with 80% in maths and 82% in science.

    You will get an admission in Diploma in engineering i.e 3 years as eligibility doesnt match as per your latest qualification for diploma in engg. (lateral entry). 

    Please refer the following eligibility criteria to get an admission in diploma in engg. (3 years):--

    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.

    For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

    It is easy for you to get admission as you have a good percentage and score. Admission procedure, contact the LPU helpline and they will provide you with all kinds of the details regarding admission. Either apply online through the website.
    Though, the first option is much better, after consulting the helpline, follow the procedure as told by them.

    The Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Engineering at LPU is passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.
    For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
    (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
