How can I get admission in LPU if I cannot qualify the LPU-NEST or is there any other way?

Hi, Due to the current situation that is COVID-19, there is a bit relaxation the admission criteria and admissions 2020 are being done online. So, it depends on which programme you are interested in. You can get direct admission in some courses just you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. 5 years agoWell, I cannot say that LPU NEST is a easy entrance exam. However you will get 2 chances to qualify LPU NEST. If you failed for the first time on to improve then you can apply for second chance of LPU NEST. Anyways you do not think like this that you are not able to qualify this exam. Eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Tech at Lovely Professional University is that candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th class or English must be studied as a subject, as well as LPUEST must be qualified. Hi, It basically depends on the programme in which you are interested and want to apply for. Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed. Depending on the eligibility criteria, there is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview. Hi Siddhant, Well, earlier it was mandatory to qualify LPU NEST for various programs offered by lovely professional University. But this year due to COVID 19 pandemic across the country, university has exempted the entrance exam for many other programs apart from B.Tech and Ph.D. If it is a matter of qualifying in eligibility criteria, one can take second chance of entrance exam if he/she is failed in the first chance. 5 years agoHiLPU NEST is a mandatory test for only some programmes where the eligibility requires you to give the test. There too you can have the syllabus and the paper pattern from the web site. Kindly note it is not mandatory for all programmes. For other programmes it is just for scholarship. You can check the list of streams which do not need LPU NEST as mandatory. Thanks! -
Dear Siddhant, There are three ways to get admission into B.Tech at LPU
1. LPUNEST
2. JEE Mains : 80percentile plus
3. Score of 90% plus in 10+2 with Physics, Maths and English. So, you can SEE that you still have a chance to g through if your 12th score is 90% or your JEE Mains score is above 80percentile. Dear Student, LPU conducts LPU-NEST for MBA, Engineering, Law, Design, Agriculture, Applied Medical Sciences, Hotel management and Ph.D. For these courses, either you have to qualify LPU-NEST or National Level Test. There is no way to get admission in above mentioned programmes without qualifying any test. LPU-NEST is an entrance and scholarship test.
