Hi, Due to the current situation that is COVID-19, there is a bit relaxation the admission criteria and admissions 2020 are being done online. So, it depends on which programme you are interested in. You can get direct admission in some courses just you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tui

Well, I cannot say that LPU NEST is a easy entrance exam. However you will get 2 chances to qualify LPU NEST. If you failed for the first time on to improve then you can apply for second chance of LPU NEST. Anyways you do not think like this that you are not able to qualify this exam. Eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Tech at Lovely Professional University is that candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th class or English must be studied as a subject, as well as LPUEST must be qualified. LPU NEST could be exempted only if the candidate is having 90% or more than that in 12th class are 90 percentile or more in JEE

Hi Siddhant, Well, earlier it was mandatory to qualify LPU NEST for various programs offered by lovely professional University. But this year due to COVID 19 pandemic across the country, university has exempted the entrance exam for many other programs apart from B.Tech and Ph.D. If it is a matter of qualifying in eligibility criteria, one can take second chance of entrance exam if he/she is failed in the first chance. Online admissions are going on, one can proceed further through their university website. To get maximumScholarship benefits Lpu officials are advising to take admission as soon as possible. All the best for your future.

HiLPU NEST is a mandatory test for only some programmes where the eligibility requires you to give the test. There too you can have the syllabus and the paper pattern from the web site. Kindly note it is not mandatory for all programmes. For other programmes it is just for scholarship. You can check the list of streams which do not need LPU NEST as mandatory. Thanks!

Dear Siddhant, There are three ways to get admission into B.Tech at LPU
    1. LPUNEST
    2. JEE Mains : 80percentile plus
    3. Score of 90% plus in 10+2 with Physics, Maths and English. So, you can SEE that you still have a chance to g through if your 12th score is 90% or your JEE Mains score is above 80percentile. One more important point is: You can sit in second chance for LPU NEST with adequate preparation. Hope this helps you realizing your dream. DVD.

LPU-NEST is not the only way. Clear any central government hosted national level competitive exam depending upon your subject in 12th. Example: JEE Mains for maths students, UGC-NEET for biology and so on. LPU-NEST is very easy to qualify and there are less chances for not getting through it.
  • Dear Student, LPU conducts LPU-NEST for MBA, Engineering, Law, Design, Agriculture, Applied Medical Sciences, Hotel management and Ph.D. For these courses, either you have to qualify LPU-NEST or National Level Test. There is no way to get admission in above mentioned programmes without qualifying any test. LPU-NEST is an entrance and scholarship test. You get admission as well as scholarship, when you qualify this exam. Eligibility Criteria for each programme is different. But there are a few courses in which you get direct admission, you need not appear in LPU-NEST, if you have good percentage in last qualifying exam. Test pattern and
