    LPU is a premier university of India with top placements, world-class infrastructure and faculty. There are more than 200 courses in the university. Each course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate to get admission. The eligibility for lateral entry in B.Tech at LPU is passing with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering) (any stream) (3-year after class 10th). As per the current situation, the last date to apply for admission is 30th April 2020. You can begin the process of admission by visiting university's website or you can call on university toll free number.

    B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is getting into the second year of B.Tech after the Diploma. The eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks of previous qualification, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, and many more.     Hello,
    You can avail admission in B.Tech lateral entry after fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the LPU website. It would have been easy for me to guide you if you mentioned the stream, as there are certain conditions according to the stream. The basic criteria is minimum 60% in Diploma and other conditions have to fetched from www.lpu.in
    After satisfying the requirement, you can proceed to take admission on or before 30th April 2020 through nest.lpu.in

    Hello Lokesh,
    Eligibility for lateral entry in B.Tech at LPU is passing with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering). (Any stream) (3 years after class 10th) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017. Or, in case marks scored in Diploma (engineering) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2020 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. All the best.

    An engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Diploma programme to higher learning with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, etc. Yes, you can take admission after Diploma. LPU offers lateral entry programmes after Diploma in engineering like B.Tech lateral entry programme.     You have not mentioned your marks. The eligibility for B.Tech Lateral entry is:
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering) (any stream) (3 years after 10th) or B.Sc. (non-medical) or B.Sc (computer science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST. Or
    In case marks scored in Diploma (engineering) or B.Sc. (non-medical) or B.Sc (computer science) or BCA are 70% or above, then LPU-NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. For more information, contact the university.

    Hi, For admissions, 2020, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3yrs. After 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-medical)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. LPU also offers different scholarship slabs on tuition fees per semester. The last date of admission to avail maximum scholarship is 31st May 2020.
