    For admission to a NIT Srinagar course, aspirants must meet the course-specific eligibility and selection criteria. Admission to all the offered courses is entrance-based. Hence, for admission in the NIT Srinagar BTech CSE course, aspirants need to have a valid score of JEE Main. Candidates who further meet the cutoff become eligible for participation in JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. In case seats are left vacant after the JoSAA counselling, then those are filled through CSAB counselling.

    You have to give JEE Mains and then do the choice filling for CSAB according to your preference for a college. The college you want the most, you have to give it first priority. The college you want after that college, you have to fill it after the college mentioned before, and so on. After that, CSAB will announce results of Rounds 1-4 and the SPOT Round one after the other starting with Round 1. If you get a seat in a college in your list of preferred colleges, you will have an option to lock that seat by paying some amount of money.
