    For admission to the BTech course at Punjabi University, it is mandatory for candidates to have valid JEE Main scores. Only candidates who qualify JEE Mains scores are eligible for further admission process. After the entrance exams, candidates can called for the counselling process on the basis of the ranks.F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) / DAE / ICS / A-Level or equivalent with at least 60% Marks. 3.     The criteria for candidates willing to pursue B.Tech from Punjabi University are as follows: 

    • a minimum of 50 percent (45 Percent for reserved categories) in PCM - Physics, chemistry, maths and English in class 12th . 

    • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) results are also needed for admission in B.Tech .

    As mentioned above, admission to BE at Panjab University is subject to a valid score in JEE Main exam followed by JAC Chandigarh Counselling. All the affiliated colleges of Panjab University offering BTech are part of JAC Chandigarh counselling. Hence, the selection criteria of PU BTech is completed via JAC Chandigarh Counselling. To add, the university also conducts and considers the scores of PU LEET and PU MEET scores for lateral entry admissions.
