The eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Bharat Institute of Technology are:
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 45% marks in PCM in the intermediate exam from a recognised board (40% for SC/ST).
- Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, with one optional subject (Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational).
- Lateral Entry: A three-year engineering Diploma (minimum 50%) or a three-year B.Sc. degree (minimum 50%) with Mathematics in 10+2.
Candidates must also appear for the JEE Main exam for admission.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
