How can i get admission in St. Xavier Mumbai for B.Sc IT If i didn't appear for the entrance exam?

Hi dear, The St, Xavier's College Autonomous has its own admission process which is entirely different as prescribed by the Mumbai university. As soon as the results are declared the college starts distribution of the forms. At present you need to fill the online form first on the college's website , pay the fee in the form of demand draft and then you need to wait for the first merit list for various courses. The merit list will have your name if it finds you in the prescribed cutoffs. After that, within 2-3 days you need to report the college with the original certificates and your application form number which you filled online. Also, you need to possess the form given by MU which is mandatory for every candidate seeking admissions for undergraduate courses in Mumbai. Stand in a queue, pay the fees , handover the originals and you're done. If you didn't find your name in the list, wait for the 2nd merit list and so on. The merit lists will be announced as per the availability of seats for each course and the candidates who failed to report. The college has the autonomy to decide when the lists should be out or not. The MU doesn't interfere in the college matters. The college even holds entrance exams and interviews for selective courses like BMS and BMM. That's the benefit of Autonomy the college holds. But as per MU, no college has the authority to conduct any kind of entrance exams for any undergraduate courses leaving aside the professional ones like Engineering , Medicine,etc. Since St. Xavier's College is Autonomous it can do whatever it feels like.
