Well, it depends on what curriculum you are talking about. Thapar Institute of Engineering offers various like B.E. / B.Tech M.E. , MBA and various sub branches under. I'm considering here B.E. Well there are 2 ways to join a B.E. Course at Thapar University first via JEE Mains marks and the cutoffs are different for different categories and Thapar also has 50% reservation for Punjab State students. The full list of cutoff for different branches can be seen on the website. Thapar University also conducts it's own exam in December to fill the remaining seats in the respective branch and to give a chance to the existing students to upgrade their branch if they want. To take admission via this procedure you must have completed one semester in any college with the same B.E. /B.Tech programme. But if you are a Diploma student, Thapar University also takes Diploma students in 2nd year of engineering by conducting it's own exam called LEET entry. To apply in any category go-to Thapar University website and then under the category of admissions you will find Undergraduate admission. Your every query can be solved there (like dates, fee structure etc. ) Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed University).

There is an application form by Thapar. Firstly, you need to fill that. Then, the cut-off lists will be released by Thapar itself. According to that cut-off, your admission will depend. The cut-off lists will be for your JEE Mains score. But I think you are too late to fill the form.
