Well, it depends on what curriculum you are talking about. Thapar Institute of Engineering offers various like B.E. / B.Tech M.E. , MBA and various sub branches under. I'm considering here B.E. Well there are 2 ways to join a B.E. Course at Thapar University first via JEE Mains marks and the cutoffs

There is an application form by Thapar. Firstly, you need to fill that. Then, the cut-off lists will be released by Thapar itself. According to that cut-off, your admission will depend. The cut-off lists will be for your JEE Mains score. But I think you are too late to fill the form.
