How can I get admission in the 3rd year of Diploma in mechanical engineering? How many subjects do I need to clear for the same?

I am in the second year of Diploma in ME. I failed in 7 subjects. I am pursuing Diploma from MSBTE board.

Hello Onkara, Failing is no sin. It teaches us many things. Instead of thinking of taking admission in next semester with lots of backlogs, it's always better to clear all the backlogs in one go without botheration of studying new subjects simultaneously. I am trying to clear everything but I'm afraid I can't pass in two of the subjects right now (the exams for those subjects are right next week). And I've to pass this year or my parents would get me out of engineering.
