Top mba colleges like IIM accept CAT so doing CAT would be beneficial and it is accepted nationwide so CAT would be sufficient
other specific exams like XAT should be given if you want admission in XLRI or few others
In maharashtra there is CET
so Find out which college you wish to apply and then select the exam
So I would say dont give every exam it will be waste of money and time
Just concentrate on 1 or 2 entrance exam -
Hi Garvit. The colleges outside India and a few colleges in India take GMAT score. CAT and MAT are purely for admission in Indian colleges. GMAT quant section is easier than CAT quant. So if you are not good in quant, GMAT might be a good option. But GMAT is a very costly affair. So take GMAT only when you are very sure about doing MBA abroad. Otherwise, taking all these exams will be good to keep your options open.
