What is the criteria for government medical college for MBBS? How much percentage and NEET score is required?

    NEET is the only gateway for admission into MBBS and BDS courses in India. For government colleges you need a NEET score of 70% in general category.

Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals MS cutoff 2023 for MS in Obstetrtics and Gynaecology was 37905 for OBC category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET PG, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

As per Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals NEET PG cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank was 5479 for General category candidates in All India quota for MS in Obstetrtics and Gynaecology. NEET PG cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for MBBS at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals has been fluctuating in the recent years.  In 2021, the last round closing rank for the General All India category students was 4631. In 2022, the last round closing rank was 10027, and in 2023, it stood at 9818. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
