Candidates must meet the prerequisites in order to be admitted to the three-year BCA or BCA Industry Integrated program. Applicants for this course may be those who have passed Class 12 in any Science or commerce stream with mathematics as one of the core topics. Merit-based admissions govern GEU's BCA program. A candidate's eligibility is determined by how well they performed on the prior qualifying exam. When determining their ultimate admission, their Class 12 merit score will be taken into account.

For admission to either a three-year BCA or BCA Industry Integrated course, candidates are required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. Whoever passes who pass Class 12 in any stream of either Commerce or Science having Mathematics as one of the main subjects may apply for this course. Admission to BCA at GEU is merit-based.
