Zoology Programme is offered by the department of Life Science as an effective programme targeting the students who wish to pursue research and animal ethics or higher studies in the field of Zoology. The current research and teaching in the department include diverse aspects of Zoology with a balance of organismic and reductionist. It offers in-depth knowledge of teaching and research programs in diverse areas of Zoology viz Animal Physiology, Immunology, Fish Biology, Entomology, Receptor Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology Endocrinology, Radiation Biology, Toxicology, Genomics and Cancer Biology.
