DY Patil, Akurdi admission to BE is subject to national/state-level entrance exams. To be eligible candidates must have passed Class 12/ Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% aggregate (45% in case of Backward class & PwD candidates from Maharashtra) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects. BTech admission at DY Patil College of Engineering is subject to CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra on the basis of valid scores in MHTCET/ JEE Main and GATE exams. The minimum eligibility criteria for BTech is to pass Class 12/ Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% aggregate (45% in case of Backward class & PwD candidates from Maharashtra) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.
