    To pursue an LLM from Harvard, the applicants are required to meet the entry requirements given below:

    • A J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an ABA-approved US law school or a first law degree (J.D., LLB or the equivalent) from a law school
    • If the applicants are in the final year of law studies, then they must complete the degree no later than June of the year in which they are intended to enroll
    • Usually, to study LLM from Harvard, no work experience or further study beyond law school is needed. However, the applicants with two or more years of work experience have a better sense of what they hope to accomplish during the LLM program

    Admission to LLM program at Harvard University is highly competitive. Each year, around 1600 applicants compete for around 180 places in the LLM program. 

    Harvard University admission requirements for LLM course are: 

    • The applicants must have a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an ABA approved US Law School or a first-law degree (J.D., LLB or equivalent) from a foreign law school
