Below is the application process for International students at the Technical University of Berlin:

Step 1: Register and update the information. Applicants must first heat to the Uni-assist website and either from the website or log in if they already have a personal MY assist account. Provide your personal information, add your educational history, or update any required details.

Step 2: Applicants must select their interested courses, and after logging in, applicants can use the search window or refine the search criteria to find the study programs unavailable at TU Berlin, Select the semester you wish to apply and proceed further.

Step 3: Applicants must complete the application form with accurate responses. You can view your application form by navigating in the My Applications section in your personal My Assist account.

Step 4:  Applicants must upload the required documents, 

• Academic transcripts

• DSH/TestDAF/AP score reports

• Letters of Recommendation (LORs)

• Supplement essays

• Additional supplements such as audio recordings, videos, or portfolios

• Financial documents

• Proof of German statutory health insurance

• Fee waiver form, if any

For PG students:

• Academic transcripts

• IELTS/TOEFL score reports

• DSH/TestDAF score reports

• GRE/GMAT score reports

• Resume/CV

• Essays or SOP, as per course requirement

• Two to three LORs

• Additional or optional supplements such as cover letters, video statements, portfolios, etc

• Financial documents

• Proof of German statutory health insurance

• Fee waiver form, if any

Step 5:  Follow the below guidelines before uploading:

1. Applicants must upload only PDF files with a maximum of 10 MB for each document

2. Name your documents clearly in either German or English.

3. Arrange the scanned documents in the correct order, according to page numbers 

4. Use separate files for different documents

5. Please note that once you upload the documents, you cannot delete them and ensure that you submit them thoroughly with accuracy.

6. Do not send hard copies of your documents to uni-assist ot Tu Berlin: the application process is entirely online.
