Candidates need to apply for admissions for their chosen courses at TISS by visiting the official website of the institute. To fill the TISS admission form for their chosen course, candidates are required register themselves first on the official website. After registration, candidates will appear for the TISS entrance exam. Those who manage to clear it with an appropriate rank are proceeded to the further steps in the admission process.

Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's (minimum of 3 or 4 years duration) or Master's Degree or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university.Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai does not offer an MBA programme. However, it does offer similar programme in Management, Including MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, Social Entrepreneurship, Globalization and Labor, etc.
