    For getting an MBBS seat at Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal for the 2023-24 academic year:

    • KMC Manipal offers 250 MBBS seats in total, with 85% in the general category and 15% in the NRI/foreign category.
    • The annual MBBS tuition fee is ?17,70,000 for general category students, paid in 4 instalments over 4.5 years. The total fees including the caution deposit is ?70,88,500.
    • For NRI/foreign category students, the annual MBBS fee is $49,400.
    • The NEET cutoff score for the general category was 566 in 2023, up from 554 in 2022.
    • KMC Manipal was ranked the 9th best medical college in India by NIRF in 2023.

    Those who wish to enroll in the MBBS programme at Manipal University or Manipal Medical Colleges must take the NEET UG entrance exam. Upon achieving a rank in the NEET UG exam, candidates must complete an online application form and attach their test results and supporting documentation. Based on their prior academic records and NEET UG results, the candidates will be shortlisted. Ultimately, the MCC/KEA/JCECEB counseling committees conduct a counseling process to determine the ultimate seat allocation. 

  • To get a seat to MBBS at Manipal University or Manipal Medical Colleges, aspirants must appear for NEET UG entrance exam. Candidates who secure a rank in NEET UG exam are required to fill an online application form with submitting their scores and other documents at the time of filling the application form. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the NEET UG. At last, the final seat allotment is done through a counselling process conducted by MCC/ KEA/ JCECEB counselling bodies.
