How can I get direct admission in B.Tech through lateral entry?

Dear Parikshith,
Lateral entry in B.Tech allows you admission in second year of B.Tech after 3 years of Diploma after class 10th or 2 years of Diploma after class 12th or B.Sc (Non-Med. Or Computer Science). You can appear for LEET exam, or go for university specific exams or even go for direct admission subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Universities like LPU, DIT, Mangalyatan, Chitkara, etc. are offering B.Tech Lateral entry. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students, apart from good placements. Some even offer scholarships to meritorious students. Good luck. -
Lateral entry is conducted for the Diploma holder that basically means that those students can take admission in 2nd year of B.Tech who have completed their Diploma course in any stream, they can continue their graduation course with B.Tech.
