To get direct admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU) without giving the LPU-NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test), there are typically two main avenues you can explore: merit-based admission and sports or extracurricular excellence. LPU offers direct admission to students based on their academic performance in previous qualifying exams, such as 10+2 or equivalent (for undergraduate courses) or graduation (for postgraduate courses). If you meet the eligibility criteria and have secured a high percentage in your previous academic qualifications, you may be considered for direct admission. LPU evaluates your performance

    Hello,

To get direct admission at Lovely Professional University (LPU) without appearing for the LPUNEST entrance exam, there are typically two options:

    1. Admission Based on Academic Performance: LPU offers direct admission to certain programs based on your previous academic qualifications (e.g., 12th-grade marks for undergraduate courses or graduation marks for postgraduate courses). For example, if you have high marks in your qualifying exams, such as a 60% or above in 12th grade for a B.Tech program, you may be eligible for direct admission without needing to appear for the LPUNEST. This may apply to various courses like BBA, BCA,

No there is no scope of donation or self finance seat in LPU. LPU has a very transparent admission process. Subject to the course you are applying the admission criterion may vary. For instance if you are applying for an admission in B.Tech Program then qualifying LPU NEST Entrance test is mandatory. Or for say eg. you are seeking admission in MBA programme at LPU then you need to qualify LPU NEST TEST as well as MBA Admission Interview. However if you are applying for any under grad program like B.Design or say Fashion Designing or BBA you might not have to give LPU NEST.
Instead I would suggest you may please check the program detail

Dear, Yes, if you miss the first phase of LPU NEST, you can still apply for the next phase. Lovely Professional University conducts LPU NEST in multiple phases each year to give students several chances to appear for the exam and qualify for admission or scholarships. You simply need to check the updated schedule on the official LPU website and complete the registration process for the upcoming phase. However, applying in the earlier phases is recommended, as it often provides better chances for higher scholarships and early admission to preferred programs.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. Dear, To manage time effectively during the LPU NEST exam, start by carefully reading all the instructions and understanding the question pattern before you begin. Divide your total exam time based on the number of questions—allocate a few minutes to each and avoid spending too long on any single question.

Begin with the sections or questions you find the easiest to build confidence and secure quick marks, then move on to more challenging ones. Keep track of time using the on-screen timer and make sure to leave a few minutes at the end to review your answers. Practice mock tests regularly before the exam to improve your speed and accu
