How can I get direct admission in LPU without giving LPU NEST either donation or on the percentage basis?

    Please understand one thing: LPU is a top university in India for B.Tech. It has over the years cultivated a high reputation for itself with heavy investments into intellectual capital. It does not I repeat DOES NOT offer any admission on donation or capitation fee. On percentage basis, you can get admission of your score is above 90% with Maths, Physics and English, subject to availability of seat in your choice of branch. So, it is imperative that you must perform very well in board exams.     In LPU university doesn't accept donations and there is some course in which you can take direct admission like, B.A. BBA B.Com and so on.

    In some courses it's compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA, but in courses like BA B.Com, BBA, it's not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST.

    In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA, but in courses like B.A. B.Com BBA its not necessary to appear in LPU NEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPU NEST.

    LPU does not accept any donations. Rather LPU offers scholarships to the meritorious and needy. These are the scholarships the university offers. LPUNEST
    Marks based (for previous two qualifying Exams)

    The eligibility criteria for B.Tech mechanical engineering is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. In case you qualify the above criteria only then you can proceed for admission, as there is no donation system. Also, LPU NEST is not only for entrance purpose but it serves the purpose of scholarship as well. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible student

  • Dear aspirant. The admission at LPU is entirely based on the caliber of the student. There is no admission at LPU through any sort of donation. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. Yes, the LPU NET sample paper will be released separately for all streams. The sample paper will be released on the official website. The candidates can download sample paper from official website.

Candidates must visit official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on Log in. Click on LPUNEST slot booking option, available slots will be displayed on screen. Only candidates who have submitted application and fee payment can do slot booking. Select preferred centre, city, date and time for exam, and save preferences. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. LPU NEST slot booking must be done at least 3 days before date of exam.

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before specified deadline, university books a slot for that candidate. Candidates must specify 5 choices of test centres in application form. LPU may book any of preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university.
