Bhagwati Prasad Mahavidyalaya has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.A. | Candidate must have completed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council. |
| B.Ed | Candidates completed graduation/postgraduation in any discipline from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. |
| B.Com | Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Commerce/Science with Mathematics stream from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. Vocational subject students are not eligible to apply. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science stream from a recognised board. |
