Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Commerce has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| BCA | The candidate must have passed HSC Examination (12th Std.) from Gujarat HSCE Board or Senior School Certificate Examination (12th Std.) from CBSE/ICSE Board from a school situated in Gujarat state. The candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination from a school outside the Gujarat state or HSC Examination (12th Std.) or equivalent examination from other State HSC Boards, but whose parents are transferred / deputed in Gujarat will also be considered, if they satisfy other qualifying conditions and they provide the transfer documents to the satisfaction of the University.The candidate must have passed the above qualifying examination with English as a subject. |
| BBA | Candidates have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2 System) or it equivalent |
| B.Com | Candidate must have passed 10+2 with some compulsory subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Maths/optional subject, and/ or Economics. |
