Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education, Utkal University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
Courses Eligibility PG Diploma Candidate must have passed PG or equivalent from a recognised board / Institute/ University M.A. Candidate must have Graduation Degree in a relevent field or equivalent from a recognised board / Institute/ University. M.Com Candidate must have passed Graduation Degree in B.Com, BBA from Utkal University or any other University recognised by Utkal University, B.Com Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / +2 / Senior Secondary or any other equivalent examination passed from any Board / Council established by the Govt. of India or any State Govt. or any other equivalent examination recognised by Central Board of Secondary Education / Council of Higher Secondary / Dept. of Industry or any other Dept. of Govt. of Odisha or Utkal University. B.A. Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / +2 / Senior Secondary or any other equivalent examination passed from any Board / Council established by the Govt. of India or any State Govt. or any other equivalent examination recognised by Central Board of Secondary Education / Council of Higher Secondary / Dept. of Industry or any other Dept. of Govt. of Odisha or Utkal University. BBA Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board / Institute/ University. MBA/PGDM Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.MCA Candidate must have completed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. or Candidate who have completed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level can also apply with minimum mentioned marks and 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
