Government First Grade College for Women, Maddur has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.A.Candidates must have passed with mentioned marks in the cognate subject at the Bachelors degree and 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects from any recognised university.
M.ComCandidate must have B.Com/B.B.M or equivalent with mentioned marks in the aggregate in commerce subjects from any recognised university.
B.A.Candidate must have completed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council.
B.ComCandidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council.
B.Sc.Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Science stream from a recognised board.
BBACandidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council.
BCACandidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognised Board/Council.
