    Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
    CoursesEligibility
    B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed pass Diploma in Engineering/ Technology from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) or equivalent CGPA.
    or
    Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Degree from any recognised college/ university with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) and must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject.
    The candidate, if admitted, will have to clear the subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing of the 1st year Degree Course in Engineering/Technology along with their second year subjects.
    Candidate must be citizen of India.
    The above mentioned upper age limit is for B.Sc. candidates as on 31.12.2018.
    There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology.
    BCACandidate passed 12th/equivalent in Mandatory subjects as mentioned from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
    BBACandidate passed 12th/equivalent with Mandatory subject from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
    M.E./M.TechCandidates completed M.Sc. in Computer Science/ComputerApplications/Mathematics (with Computer Science Specialisation), MCA (with BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics compulsory and any of the others from Statistics, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science) from any recognised institute/ university are also eligible to apply.
    After 10th DiplomaCandidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any
    recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.
    Candidate appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply.
    Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit.
    MCACandidate who qualify eligibility as given below can also apply:
    Module 4
    Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics.
    They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.
    Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education.
