    Yes, students who want to apply for courses at Institute of Technical Education and Research need to first meet the last educational qualification. The admission criteria for all the courses are through entrance exam scores. Candidate can check course-wise eleigibility from the table presented below:

    Institute of Technical Education and Research has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
    CoursesEligibility
    B.E. / B.Tech12th specific_requirement - Candidate must also have one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject at 10+2 level
    Lateral Entry Eligibility
    12th Gen - 50%
    Candidate must also have one of the following subjects : Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject at 10+2 level
    Mandatory Subject - Physics, Mathematics
    Lateral Entry Exam
    JEE Main, SAAT
    M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of engineering and technology with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
    45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
    MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed Bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
    45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
