JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research Kolkata, JIS University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates who have passed Masters degree in Science (Chemistry /Physics / Electronics or other relevant area) are also eligible. |
| M.Sc. | Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree from recognised university . |
| Ph.D. | Candidates who have passed MSc / MTech/ MPharm are also eligible to apply . |
