    Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
    CoursesEligibility
    MBA/PGDMCandidates completed Master's degree in any discipline of any recognised university with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marks for students belong to SC/ST/PWD/OBC) are also eligible to apply.
    M.Sc.Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognised university.
    Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
    M.E./M.TechCandidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on
    a 10- point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognised university/Institute.
    Final year appearning students may also apply on provisional basis.
    Candidate must have a valid GATE Score of the year 2020 / 2021 / 2022.
    Candidate who has passed from any of the professional societies such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil
    Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and has enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition up to May 31, 2013 can also apply.
    After 10th DiplomaFor admission to 3-Year ICD Programme, the candidates should have passed their 10th class (Pass in English, Mathematics and Science is compulsory) from a State Education Board/CBSE/ICSE/ National Open School or an equivalent examination recognized/approved Board by Ministry of Education, Government of India. Those who are appearing in matriculation examination may also apply subject to producing the result at the prescribed time.
    For admission to Lateral Entry ICD (2nd year) -
    Student must have passed 10th, must have passed full time 2 years ITI course/Certificate/10+2 (vocational) in relevant trade with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from Govt./Semi Govt Institute along with 2 years industrial experience from Govt./Semi Govt. and Private Industry of repute.
    B.E. / B.TechCandidate with below mentioned eligibility are also eligible:
    Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
    SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.
    A Diploma recognised by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
    General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
