Satyam Institute of Management and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Com | Candidate must have passed 10+2 with some compulsory subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Maths/optional subject, and/ or Economics. |
| B.Sc (Hons.) | Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science (PCM/PCB) stream from a recognised board. |
| B.Voc | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. |
| BBA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council. |
| BCA | Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognised Board/Council. |
