Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognised board with minimum 55%. (for SC/ ST :- Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognised board.) or Candidate must have passed B.Sc. from a recognised college/ university with minimum 55% and must have studied mathematics at graduation level or 10+2 level. (for SC/ ST :- Candidate must have passed B.Sc. from a recognised college/ university and must have studied mathematics at graduation level or 10+2 level.) |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
