How can I get lateral entry admission in this college for B.Tech in mechanical engineering?

Is there any possibility to get a job in the core companies? Is it valuable to pursue B.Tech (lateral entry) from LPU? How is its placement and what is this college not in the NIRF ranking?

    Yes, you can get lateral entry admission in B.Tech Mec at LPU, Eligibility for admission for 2020 batch is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream).     Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3 years after 10th) or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc.(Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017.

    In case marks scored in Diploma (Engg.) or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc.(Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

LPU has more than 200 courses and every course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate to get admission. For admission in B.     1. Lateral entry admission is possible in B.Tech Mechanical. You need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.
    2. Possibility of jobs in core companies: Yes you have a great chance to land up in core companies, more than 700 companies visit the campus for recruitment. If you are able to maintain decent CGPA, you surely will get thru.

    For lateral entry in B.Tech (ME), eligibility is to pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engineering in any stream), after class 10th, or B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2019. Or, in case marks scored in Diploma (Engineering) or B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2019 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
