How can I get lateral entry into banks/ government jobs in India?

I am an IT professional with 11 years of experience in banking & financial services with multinational banks as a client. I am 35 & did MCA 7 years back. Is there a way to get banking jobs/ government jobs now? I am ready to do a certification/course or prepare for any exam.

As an IT professional with domain knowledge in BFSI vertical you are eligible for jobs in banks and both central and state governments against open and advertised vacancies. You must look for such opening in leading newspapers e.g. Times of India ASCENT on every Wednesday. These jobs are not filled
