How can I get M.Sc in mathematics after B.Tech? Is this shifting in career advisable provided I have a great passion for mathematics?

I wouldn't suggest such a change in career. You can pursue a Masters in engineering course that focuses more mathematics. However, if you think that you will not be satisfied with that, you can opt for M.Sc. M.Tech in Mathematics and Computing can be good course for you.
