Amity does help in placements for distance learning students also. Amity's placement cell is quite active and ensures to provide opportunities to all the students. Apart from that, as a suggestion, I would tell you not to rely on the institute for all your employment needs. You should upload your resume on job portals as well as soon as you complete you PG Diploma. -

Let me tell you that finding a job is not easy. Basically, there are two things required for a person to get a job. One is that you must possess the skills that will be required in the job plus journalism is a big skill demanding job. Secondly there must be a vacancy for you to occupy. So if you are willing to get placed then start looking everywhere instead of sitting and waiting for college or somebody else to get you a job. Go and investigate yourself the scenario of your city, get into contacts with people already in the field visit offices, and leave your resume wherever you can.
