IIT Guwahati has 11 core departments, 4 multidisciplinary schools, and 5 centers that collectively offer a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses. It provides courses in science, engineering, architecture, and pharmacy. All of the courses have entrance exams. They must show up for the appropriate entrance exam and meet the cutoff. For all of these courses, the IIT Guwahati application form can be completed by going to the official website of the corresponding national or state examination.

  • Candidates seeking admission to various UG, PG, and doctoral courses offered at IIT Guwahati need to visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies and fill out the application form online. The BTech aspirants need to apply through JEE Main by visiting the NTA website (nta.ac.in) followed by JEE Advanced and JoSAA counselling. In addition, for MSc - IIT-JAM  (iitr.ac.in) and GATE  (gate.iitk.ac.in) for the M.Tech course.
