I have done my Graduation and Post graduation from this University and during summer vacations I have worked in Admission department, so I come to know the process for applying loan facility because at the time of admission, many students applied for loan facility. LPU believes that financial hindrance should not be a cause for a student to step back from his dreams and thus it provides all sort of assistance possible to its students. It is also mentioned clearly in the prospectus too. Student Loan Assistance Cell was of great help. They are available for your assistance obviously according to their office timings. University has different bank branches inside the campus. Hi Vaibhavi, For an Education Loan there is a particular Bank Policy which is same for every Institute. Thus, this is not only a matter of Lovely Professional University. Policy is as follows: You can get loan for your complete Fee structure (Loan Letter should be provided by the Institution, detailing the complete fee structure) or maximum up to 10 Lacs for your degree. Above the amount of Rs: 4 Lacs, candidate has to mortgage (a legal agreement by which a bank, lends money at interest in exchange for taking title of the debtor's property, with the condition that the Property of title becomes void upon the payment of the debt. If unpaid) the property of same/higher value in the bank. With LPU, best thing is they have a good tie-ups with several Banks. I do not know the details of the Banks. In fact I do not if they recommend the loan case to the bank or not. One of my friend has completed his MBA on education loan. There are many students in LPU who studying by education loan. You can take loan from any bank, and bank asks you for few documents like pan card, identity proof, photographs, Residential proof, 10th and 12th Marksheet and Certificate. (other documents from your Guardian also). Few documents are also need which will given from LPU like original prospectus, Fee structure, proof of admission, etc. You should contact LPU members for a Loan letter, and they will give you a form. You must fill up the form with your and guardian signature. After fill up the form, they will provide you a loan letter. With the help of this loan letter and other documents you can easily apply for education loan in LPU. Bank will give your all fee to LPU via check or online money transfer to university account.
