How can i go about pursuing a career in Oracle/ DBA? I am a 3yr comp sc. engg student but least interested in coding or development.

hi i'm 3rd year engg. student from computer sciense plz tell me what i do?& how do career in oracle or dba i have no intrest in coding or s/w engg plz tell me options are avaliable for dba bcz i have intrest in dba(but my teacher told me that more girl's are not avaliable in this feild?) so what?

Snehal, It's great to see that you are planning for ORACLE DBA! To start with, any girl,lady can pretty much work as Oracle DBA. This is usually a 24x7 job if you are in production support. But there are general shifts as well (9am to 6pm). And usually MNCs do not ask women to be in night shifts,
