Dear aspirant, Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private state university located in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University ACT 2005 (Punjab ACT 25 of 2005) and started operation in 2006. Let me share some of the insights : 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land. 3. Ranking: LPU has following ranking: 1. Impact rankings 2021 2. National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds Repeating the last year's remarkable ranking, LPU has been ranked again by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 on 23rd place amongst Top Universities in India (Both Government & Private), which is due to consistent growth and remarkable education quality of LPU. 3. Outlook has ranked LPU as 5th among top 50 universities 4. Knowledge Review rated LPU as 10 th among Best training and Placement Institute 4. Infrastructure: LPU in itself a town as all the amenities a student could found at one place there is no need to move out of the campus. LPU is a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students. The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for be it Food Canteens, Gym, or Parks. LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech, MBA, Hotel Management, and LL.B. Are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU. THANK YOU!

LPU, Jalandhar Punjab is a multi-faculty college that offers over 160 programmes in fine arts, administration, and engineering. Pharmacy, law, and architecture are only a few examples. LPU is situated on 600 acres of land that is rich in natural beauty. You can earn a degree ranging from a Diploma to a doctorate. Exceptional Placement: Over 550 national and multinational firms come to LPU for placement. For the Engineering programme, the Microsoft offered a package above42 LPA. Google recently offered a 64LPA package. All of the academics and employees have advanced degrees from IITs, NITs, Iims, and other top-tier universities throughout the world. The Best thing about LPU is IF you are the student of LPU Then you can various skill from LPU like leadership quality, team player, you can learn different culture because LPU is a diverse university where student comes from different nation and culture. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world such as IITs, NITs, Iims, etc. The best thing about LPU faculty is they all are very supportive they always help the student whenever they lacking in any subject. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself; a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Placement: Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, CEAT, Rallis India, etc. Visit LPU for recruitment purposes. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the. If I talk about the placement percentage of last year to till now is about 96%, With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visit for the recruitment of students since a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year.
