How can I increase my calculation speed while attempting questions in JEE Mains?

    Considering your concern only about JEE Mains, I would first recommend you to check that are you well versed with the complete syllabus. Yes, that is absolutely necessary to have all topics (even the smallest and seemingly unimportant ones) completed very well. Now that when you ensure that then comes the real thing. Practice, Practice and Practice. This is the only thing which can help you score well. But, only problem solving won't help you.

    For faster calculation, while attempting JEE Exams, take round figure of required data and then calculate it, by this you will get approximation of the answer from the options. Neglecting decimals and then calculating will be faster than calculation with decimals.

    You should remember some basic products like the product of hc=124000 and if you take lambda in angstrom then you will easily calculate the energy. Also, take the fractional values while solving problems. It will be simplified during further calculation. Most important, practice more and more.
